The Mozilla Community Store

Design it. Create it. Own it.

How does it all work?
You can either browse the entire gallery of designs contributed by community members to find one you like or start from scratch and create your own. Once you've chosen or uploaded a design, Zazzle offers plenty of customization options to let you twist and tweak the final product until it's exactly right. Try a different style, change the color, switch the size, add some text, change the font....the sky's the limit!
How many designs can I submit?
Creativity has no limits, and neither does the Community Store. You can submit as many designs as you'd like.
Will I get credit for my work?
Absolutely. During the upload process you'll have the opportunity to both add your own name to get an artist's credit and to name the design itself so it will have a proper description once it's in the Store. (If you want to remain anonymous, that's fine too - just check the appropriate box while preparing the upload.)
What do you mean by “all the necessary trademark and style guidelines”?
Both Mozilla and Zazzle have guidelines about acceptable content and trademark use. They’re really pretty simple, but we do recommend that you familiarize yourself with the basics before you start designing…designs that violate these guidelines won’t be included in the store.
What file format will you accept?
Please save your files in .png or .jpg formats at a 150 dpi or greater. The higher the resolution, the better the print quality. (To learn more about file formats, resolution quality and other design tips, please see Zazzle's Image Guidelines.)
Do I have to include the Firefox logo in my design?
No. The back of the shirt will have a basic default design with the Firefox logo and URL on it. You can certainly use the logo in the front design as well but it's by no means mandatory. As long as your design represents Firefox in some way you can be as creative or abstract as you like! However, if you do decide to use the logo, make sure to visit the Firefox logo style guide, and download the high resolution PNG.
Where can I download / get the Firefox logos?
You can download the high resolution PNG at:

Can I design shirts for Mozilla products besides Firefox?
Yes. You are encouraged to create designs for any of the products listed on the “Mozilla Applications” section of the Mozilla.org projects page. (Please note that the Mozilla trademark policy still applies here.)
Unfortunately, for legal and trademark reasons we are not able to accept Mozilla or dino-themed designs at this time.
What design software can I use?
You can use any raster-based or vector-based design tool that you're most comfortable with. There are a lot of options to choose from, here are some useful links with information:

How long does it take for my design to show up in the Zazzle Gallery?
After your design is uploaded, it will be reviewed by Mozilla before being added to the Store. This step is important, as we need to make sure every design follows the necessary trademark and style guidelines. We'll do this as quickly as possible, but it could take up to several days depending on the volume of submissions, so please be patient!
I can't find my design in the Store Gallery...where is it?
There might be a few reasons to explain this:
  • Did you send us the design using the Upload tool? This is the proper form of submission to guarantee review.
  • Each submission must be reviewed by Mozilla before being added to the Store. As noted above, this process may take some time so don't worry if it doesn't show up right away.
  • If your design does not follow all the necessary trademark and style guidelines, it will not be accepted so please make sure to read them carefully!
  • The Store's front page only displays a limited selection of the products. Make sure to click "view all” or filter by "recent" to find yours.
Do you ship to my location?
Zazzle ships to 84 countries worldwide, including the US, Canada, Mexico, and other international locations. For a full list and pricing information please visit their website.

How can I connect and collaborate with other designers?
We hope to have a better solution to this in the near future. But for now, you can join the Spread Firefox group "Mozilla Community Store". You can also find many designers from the contest on the contest flickr group.
